Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke to a crowd of approximately 65 Liberal Party of Canada supporters in Saskatoon on Thursday night.
He was the featured guest at the federal Liberal donor appreciation event.

This is one of more than 20 political fundraising events taking place across the country this summer, hosted by the Liberal Party.
The Liberals changed the way they do private fundraisers earlier this year, as they introduced new legislation in late May.

The party said they’re trying to be more transparent in their fundraising, explaining why they invited the media to the evening event. They also said they will release the guest list from the Saskatoon event within 45 days.
Laurier Club donors were invited to the Saskatoon gathering. The criteria to be a Laurier Club member is by contribution of at least $1,500 annually and $750 annually if under 35.

Trudeau will make three stops in Saskatoon on Friday, including Prairieland Park, White Buffalo Youth Lodge, and Gordon Oaks Red Bear Student Centre.
The prime minister is then scheduled to leave for Whitehorse on Friday evening for another event.
