Late Thursday night, Benoit Savard — known online as Benoit Action — decided he had one goal: to dance in front of (almost) every Montreal Metro station.
Why? It “was a dumb idea and we love dumb ideas,” he said.

Savard explained he wanted to celebrate back-to-school with a little dance.
He posted the video to Facebook, where it has since garnered over 41,000 views.

“We shot 71 stations in eight hours,” he told Global News, adding that he purposely missed one station to give viewers something to search for.
“Funny story, we were already planning on missing one, but it had been seven hours that we were adventuring — we did this by car, by the way— and we missed our exit.”
Coming back would have taken about 30 minutes, so Savard decided not to turn around.

The self-described “creator” is part of a three-month-old production company called Exod Studios, a group of 10 people that simply aim to “entertain Quebecers.”
“People are depressed all the time, so we find ways to put a smile on those faces,” Savard explained.
“Things are always happening in the world, I mean, they’ve been happening since the dawn of man and that’s why people are always depressed, we constantly want to put a smile on people’s faces. It’s our true passion and goal.”

Commuters didn’t even skip a beat when they saw Savard dancing.
“I think people are used to the crazy people, they acted like I didn’t even exist,” he laughed.
