The Saskatoon Blades wrapped up their training camp Monday afternoon as players make a final push for a spot on the team.
Seventy-two players took to the ice at SaskTel Centre over three days trying to earn a spot on the roster.

Dean Brockman and his coaching staff now need to whittle down that number as the club gets ready for pre-season action.
“I don’t think there was anybody we were disappointed with,” Brockman said.
“I think you know our older guys and some of the young guys that we have penciled in (and) they played like they should and it was really good for us.”

The roster will be reduced to 35 or 36 players on Tuesday morning.
They will then face off on Tuesday afternoon in the blue and white scrimmage.
The Blades first pre-season game is Thursday when they travel to Regina to take on the Pats.
