“Significant planning goes into each Parks Canada infrastructure project and that is especially the case for these complex projects that require in-water construction,” Parks Canada said in a news release.

Parks Canada administers the Trent-Severn Waterway, which runs from Lake Ontario at the Bay of Quinte to Georgian Bay on Lake Huron, with the goal of connecting communities and providing opportunities for recreation and economic benefit.
