Calgary election 2017: Joe Magliocca wins Ward 2

Incumbent Joe Magliocca has been re-elected to represent Ward 2 on Calgary City Council, according to unofficial results Monday night.

Joe Magliocca was elected to Calgary council in the 2013 election after serving as the president of the Hamptons Community Association. Magliocca advocates on the issues of transportation, public transit, recreation and community services.

Christopher Maitland

Christopher Maitland is an automotive service advisor who has lived in Ward 2 all his life. If elected as councillor, he would aim to freeze wages and reduce benefits for councilors, as well as implement a zero-budget-based system.
