Strathmore RCMP are looking for a suspect after a woman in Langdon, Alta. reported a man made several attempts to abduct her Wednesday afternoon.
The woman told police she was approached by a man she didn’t know who was “insistent in his efforts” to pick her up, despite the woman turning him down several times.

At one point the woman said he grabbed her in an attempt to force her to take a picture with him. She told police she tried to run, but he grabbed her by the neck and dragged her toward his vehicle.
A passerby witnessed what was happening and stopped the man, who ran off.

The suspect is described as having darker skin, is about six feet tall and was wearing a white t-shirt with an emblem and blue jeans. He reportedly told the woman he lives in Calgary.
