Five minors and an 18-year-old have been charged after a teenager was pistol-whipped and stabbed in a Little Italy robbery last month.

Toronto police made the arrests in the July 29 attack within the last week. Investigators say three 17-year-old boys were walking in George Ben Park, near Ossington Avenue and College Street, at around 2:45 p.m. when they were approached by three of the suspects.

The group demanded clothing that the 17-year-olds had just purchased and attacked them when they refused, according to police.
