Kishayinew’s body was found in the 1500-block 20th Street West on Jan. 1. Temperatures that night dropped to -30 degrees with the wind chill.

A friend of Kishayinew spoke out after her death, claiming she has been kicked out of the hospital after trying to make a phone call.

However, officials told Global News on Wednesday that surveillance video provided to them showed no evidence to suggest Kishayinew attended St. Paul’s Hospital.
