On March 17th, 2012, 23-year-old Mario Alberto Gomez was stabbed during a fight at the Sunset and Vine Pub in the city’s northeast. He died at the scene.
Witnesses told police Gomez was inside the pub when he became involved in a fight with another man, also believed to be his 20s. Gomez was stabbed, his attacker then leaving the bar with a group of friends.
That evening, police questioned 25 witnesses, but almost a year later, are still on the hunt for the suspect, who is described as Caucasian, 6’ tall with short hair and between 20 and 25 years old.
