The fallout from this spring’s flooding in the Okanagan will still be felt into the fall.

Coldstream announced Thursday that the Coldstream Fire Hall will not be going ahead with Halloween fireworks at Kalamalka Beach this year.

The traditional fireworks show is being canceled because of flood damage to the beach’s pier.

Money from an annual fundraiser that usually funds the fireworks will be donated to the Red Cross instead.

North Okanagan residents will still be able to catch fireworks in Lavington this Halloween.

The Lavington Fire Hall will be putting on a fireworks display in Lavington Park.
