Missing man in northern Saskatchewan located

A man who was reported missing in northern Saskatchewan has been located.

Andrew Charles, 51, was reported missing to La Ronge RCMP on Thursday.

He was last seen on July 17 at Sulphide Lake, which is northeast of La Ronge.

A boat containing all of Charles’ equipment and gear was located close to where he was last seen.

A driver located him Sunday evening walking on Highway 915 south of Lynx Lake.

Police said the Canadian Rangers, Civil Air Search and Rescue (CASARA) and local volunteers were involved in the search for Andrews.

Sulphide Lake is approximately 430 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
