The Calgary Hitmen have unveiled their new front office.

Chynoweth replaces Mike Moore, who was promoted to vice-president and alternate governor earlier in the off-season.

The Chynoweth family sold the Ice franchise earlier this year, opening the door for his move to Calgary.

The Hitmen also named Dallas Ferguson their new head coach. Ferguson comes from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, starting in 2004 as an assistant coach before moving to the head coach role in 2008.

He replaces Mark French, who took a job in Europe after the WHL season.

One final move announced by the Hitmen on Tuesday was the appointment of Dallas Thompson as Director of Player Personnel. He had spent the past two seasons as the British Columbia scouting director for the team.
