A Canadian Tire in Bedford, N.S. is missing 48 kayaks after they were stolen from an outdoor storage area overnight on Thursday.
Management of the store said they did not want to be interviewed but confirmed that they had been robbed.
The kayaks were advertised at $239.99 which would put the cost of the stolen goods at $11,519.
At regular price that would’ve been $15,840.

The nearly 50 single-person kayaks had been stored in their outdoor garden centre overnight.
Although the garden centre was located in fenced off area, it appeared that the thieves had cut through the fence to allow them to get in and out undetected.
The fence has now been repaired.
The suspects’ truck was parked out of sight of a camera which was not aimed at where the boats were located.
