Vernon RCMP are investigating a shooting at Polson Park.
RCMP confirm a man was shot Thursday afternoon. He has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The shooter is still at large and police are still looking for the gun. RCMP have closed down the park for the public’s safety as they continue to investigate.

While police have not confirmed, a witness tells Global News a man was shot in the leg at a homeless tent city set up in the park.
