Montreal’s tennis sweetheart Eugenie Bouchard has been eliminated from the French Open.
She was served her second-round loss to 17th -seeded Anastasija Sevastova of Latvia .
The match was never close with Bouchard losing two-straight sets 6-3 and 6-0.
The Westmount tennis star suffered a hard loss, trailing 5-0 in the second set. To add insult to injury, Bouchard committed 22 unforced errors.

Bouchard was playing in her second major of the year while nursing an ankle sprain she received during preparations for the Nuremberg cup.
Bouchard battled through her injury to win the first-round against Japan’s Risa Ozaki.
This is the second consecutive year the Montreal native has been sent home at this stage of the French Open.
Sevastova will face off against the winner of the Petra Martic and Madison Keys match in the third round.
