London police have laid charges after almost $17,000 worth of drugs were seized from a home in the northeast end last week.

Officers executed a controlled drugs and substance act search warrant at a residence on Edenridge Drive on Thursday, May 18.
According to police, the following items were seized:
- 285 grams of marijuana, value: $2850
- 676 grams of psylocibin (mushrooms), value: $6760
- 8 x 8″ marijuana plants, value: $8000 (projected yield)
- 110 grams of marijuana shake: $5
- Canadian currency valued at $220
As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman are facing a number of charges including drug trafficking and two counts of possession of a prohibited/restricted weapon or prohibited device.
