Two people have been charged with first-degree murder and police are asking for the public’s help finding the body of a Brampton, Ont. woman.
On Friday, Peel Regional Police began investigating the disappearance of 35-year-old Beata Paciorek of Brampton.
Police said it’s believed she was operating a U-Haul truck with other individuals headed for the Sudbury, Ont. area.

A witness reported to police they had seen an altercation at the side of a highway and investigators said they believe Paciorek was murdered somewhere between Brampton and Sudbury.
In a statement late Sunday, police said a search warrant was executed in Sault Ste. Marie earlier in the day on a U-Haul truck and Paciorek’s body was found
Sault Ste. Marie police, under the direction of Peel police, located and arrested two suspects in the Sault Ste. Marie area Saturday.
Mike Madill, 28, and Amy Macdonald, 37, both of no fixed address, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder.

Both were taken into custody and were scheduled to appear for a bail hearing Sunday.
