A man was found with a loaded machine pistol after a break and enter in Saskatoon.

Police officers were called to the 1600-block of Cairns Avenue late Friday evening for a report of a break in at a detached garage.

The suspect fled before officers arrived but a police dog tracked him down.

A search turned up a loaded 7.65 mm Skorpion machine pistol, a switch blade and crystal meth.

The 36-year-old man is scheduled to appear before a justice of the peace on drug and firearm charges Saturday.
