RCMP confirm that a body found near Silver Star Road was a homicide.
The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Dustin Josef Rogers of Vernon.
His body was found March 23 near the intersection of Wilson Jackson Road and Jordashe Road.
RCMP are not releasing the cause of death or whether he was known to police.
Police say they’re still trying to piece together Roger’s activities on the days prior to his body being found.
