A Kelowna murder trial is moving along faster than anticipated.
The accused is Grace Robotti of Penticton. She’s charged with second degree murder for the January 2015 killing of 26-year-old Roxanne Louie.
The jury heard how Robotti and Louie were fighting in Robotti’s home when the accused struck Louie at least 26 times with a crowbar.
The trial began last week and was scheduled for four weeks.
After calling several witnesses — mostly law officials — the crown wrapped up its case Wednesday morning.
The defence will begin its case Thursday.
