Prince Albert police say a driver was stopped with ammunition strapped to his chest and numerous weapons charges have been laid.

At around 10:15 a.m. CT on March 24, patrol officers stopped a vehicle in the 900-block of 4th Street East due to a Traffic Safety Act investigation.

Police officials said the operator of the vehicle was acting suspiciously and could not produce a valid driver’s licence. He was brought to the police vehicle for further questioning.
