At least three people, including a 14-year-old, have been injured after a gunman opened fire outside a metro station in the city of Lille in northern France, according to French media reports.
Local news outlet La Voix du Nord reported that the teenager was struck in the leg, while another person took a bullet to the neck. A third was taken to hospital.
The shooter is believed to have fled the scene, according to public broadcaster France Bleu Nord. Police discovered a dozen shell casings in the parking lot where the shooting occurred.
The motive behind the shooting was not immediately clear.
