Kristen Stewart appeared on The Late Show on Thursday night, and revealed that she still doesn’t know why U.S. President Donald Trump was so obsessed with tweeting about her in 2012.
The Twilight actress showcased her freshly shaved head (which Colbert couldn’t stop talking about) and she discussed her new haircut and film, Personal Shopper.
Stephen Colbert couldn’t resist asking the actress about Trump’s tweets, which referred to Stewart’s former relationship with Twilight costar Robert Pattinson.

“Well, listen, you have an honour – if I can call it that – that so few people have. You were one of the first people on Twitter that our president, Donald Trump, attacked repeatedly,” Colbert said before reading a Trump tweet while doing an impression of his voice.
“Hey man, that’s whatever,” Stewart said, before brushing the dirt off her shoulder.
“Did this teach you how to deal with bullies?” Colbert asked. “‘Cause that’s bully behaviour. Why do you think he attacked you?”
Stewart admitted that she didn’t know what Trump’s motivation could’ve been, and that she tried to reach out to him.
“He doesn’t respond,” she said. “I did it publicly, and he didn’t publicly respond. I was kind of disappointed. I don’t know, man. We’re all different. That’s OK. Celebrate the differences. Whatever.”

Stewart also addressed the U.S. president’s tweets in her Saturday Night Live monologue last month.

“Four years ago I was dating this guy named Rob,” Stewart explained. “We broke up then we got back together, and for some reason it made Donald Trump go crazy.”
She then read off the tweets, in which Trump repeatedly called for Pattinson to not reunite with Stewart.
The tweets are still visible on Trump’s Twitter account. Here’s what a few of them said:
“The president tweeted about me 11 times!” she said.
She went on to offer another explanation for why Trump might be so obsessed with their former relationship.
