A two-vehicle collision on a Kelowna arterial road has sent both drivers to hospital.
It happened at about 1 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Gordon Drive and Lanfranco Road.
The driver of a small Hyundai SUV was trapped in the vehicle after it was T-boned by a larger Jeep SUV.

Police say the Hyundai driver left from the stop sign at Lanfranco road into the path of the northbound Jeep on Gordon Drive.

Fire crews had to remove the driver’s side door to free the trapped woman in the smaller SUV.
She will likely ticketed for a Motor Vehicle Act violation.
The injuries are not life-threatening.
