Global BC wins 2017 Canadian Screen Award for coverage of Whistler plane crash

Global BC brought home some hardware at the Canadian Screen Awards in Toronto Tuesday night.

The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television presented reporter John Hua with an award for best local reporting for a series of Global News stories on an airplane that went missing last June and was found on a glacier near Whistler with all three people who were on board alive.
