A new poll suggests support for Kathleen Wynne and the Liberals is down in the former suburban areas of Toronto.
The Mainstreet Research poll found the provincial Liberals have a 42 per cent lead in Toronto, but support for them outside the downtown core is crumbling.
Quito Maggi, president and CEO of Mainstreet Research, told the Toronto Sun that the overall lead is in the 416, but “it’s only a lead in the downtown core” at 57 per cent.
Why is the 416 still overwhelmingly pro-Liberal? Does anyone in that area code vote for the PC party?
