Almost time to register for spring/summer rec programs

Councillor Mike Pagtakhan will make the announcement with Winnipeg School Board Division Trustee Mark Wasyliw. File / Global News

In just a couple of weeks, Torontonians will have the opportunity to register for spring and summer recreational programs.

Registration will be staggered, starting with Etobicoke York on Saturday March 4, followed by Scarborough on Sunday March 5, North York on Tuesday March 7 and Toronto and East York  on Wednesday March 8. Registration begins in all districts at 7:00 a.m.

If you’re interested in registering for any programs, check out http://www.toronto.ca/torontofun before registration day to build wish lists, complete with program titles and bar codes. It’s also recommended to have a few options ready, just in case.

You will need an account to register for any program. If you don’t have an account, you can call 416-338-4386, email pfrcustomerservice@toronto.ca or speak with staff at a City community centre to get a family number and a client number.

Residents can also stop by a recreation registration information table at one of four locations on Family Day (Monday, February 20) to find out more about recreation programs, get a family number and learn how to register for programs:
