WAPELLA, Sask. – An Alberta woman is dead after a crash on Highway 1 near Wapella, Sask. Monday morning.
A westbound orange compact car rolled west of the community around 8:45 a.m. and ended up in the centre median.

The 63-year-old woman from Camrose, Alta. was declared dead at the scene.
The driver, a 66-year-old man also from Camrose, was taken to hospital in Moosomin with non-life threatening injuries.
Their names have not been released.
According to RCMP officials, road conditions at the time were icy and visibility was hampered by blowing snow.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
