“Louis is well acquainted with all aspects of Opsens and I am convinced, as are all the members of the board of directors, that he is the best candidate to take Opsens’ management to lead it to higher ground,” Carrier said Monday.

Opsens said the change in senior management positions the company for growth in fibre optics for the oil and gas and medical instrumentation sectors.

The Quebec City company has appointed Thierry Dumas, who has worked with large technology companies, as its new CFO.
