Highway 3 west of Rock Creek was closed in both directions Wednesday morning.

DriveBC said the highway was closed 20 kilometres south of Rock Creek because of a vehicle incident.

The highway was said to be extremely slippery because of black ice.

There’s was also a travel advisory in effect for Highway 3 from Anarchist Summit to Nancy Greene Junction because of black ice.

Travelers are being urged to use extreme caution.
