HALIFAX – Just four days after a record-breaking snowstorm moved into eastern Canada, the Maritimes got hit with another blast of winter weather.
Environment Canada reported Monday that areas of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia were blanketed with as much as 38 centimetres of snow during Sunday’s storm.
The nor’easter stayed closer to the coast line than the agency’s forecasters had originally predicted, meaning the storm packed more of a punch than expected.
