Missing man found dead on Saskatchewan’s Little Pine First Nation

A man who was reported missing on Saturday was found dead nearly 90 minutes later on Little Pine First Nation in Saskatchewan.

Cut Knife RCMP were notified at at around 6:20 p.m. CT on Saturday that a man had been located dead in an open field west of a home on the reserve.

He had been reported missing to police at 5 p.m.

His name and age have not been released.

An autopsy is expected to take place this week.

The sudden death investigation is being assisted by the forensic identification section and the office of the chief coroner.

Little Pine First Nation is approximately 175 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
