A man is recovering after being stabbed in Kelowna Saturday night.
Just before 5 p.m., RCMP say that a 34-year-old man got off the Greyhound bus and was walking from Leckie Road to Banks Road along Highway 97.
The suspect approached the man in the area of 311 Banks Road and an altercation ensued. The suspect then stabbed the victim in the abdomen before running away.
The victim was taken to hospital. He sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, about 25 years old and between 5’5″ and 5’8″ tall. He was wearing a brown hoodie with a large orange logo, blue jeans and running shoes.
