Accused in death of Ryan Lane make first court appearance

CALGARY – Three people accused in the first-degree murder of Ryan Lane have made their first court appearance on Thursday.

Sheena Cuthill Rempel appeared in person, while her husband Tim Rempel and his brother Will Rempel appeared via CCTV.

All three now have defence lawyers.

The defence is expecting voluminous amounts of disclosure, as this case exceeded a million dollars to investigate

Ryan Lane went missing last February-police announcing just weeks ago that his remains were found.

The case has been put over until December 21st.
