Missing Edmonton doctor’s remains have been found

EDMONTON – The Edmonton Police Service has located the body of the physician that was missing since Monday, Nov. 26, 2012.

Wednesday, police confirmed that remains found in the Whitemud Creek Ravine on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 were that of Doctor Bryan McPhail.

The death appears non-criminal in nature at this time.

Doctor Bryan McPhail, 66, was last seen by another physician at their place of work, the Calwood Medical Centre, at approximately 1:30 pm on Monday, Nov. 2012.

Police said McPhail’s partner heard from him over the phone around 2:30 that same afternoon.

McPhail’s vehicle was found by police, parked in the garage of his Aspen Gardens residence.
