At around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday a Molotov cocktail was thrown into a restaurant in Rosemont on Masson Street near 8th Avenue.
The restaurant’s window was broken with an unknown object and the incendiary device was thrown after that, according to Benoit Boisselle, Montreal police spokesperson.

Damages were minor and employees of the restaurant were able to extinguish the fire.
No one was injured and no suspect has been located.
