Saskatoon police have two teens in custody after using stop sticks to halt a stolen SUV.
The stolen vehicle was first spotted by patrol officers early Monday morning being driven erratically in the area of 8th Street East and Clarence Avenue.

The driver of the SUV refused to stop and attempted to evade police.
Officers said they successfully deployed stop sticks, flattening tires on the SUV, and arrested two teens.
The 18-year-old driver was taken to hospital for treatment of a minor cut on his arm.

The driver and a 17-year-old passenger are facing charges of possession of stolen property and flight from police.
According to police, the driver also has outstanding criminal warrants and is in breach of conditions from a previous court appearance.
Both are scheduled to appear Monday evening before a justice of the peace.
