The stabbing allegedly happened at a home near College and Dufferin streets. An investigator said MacDonald would regularly visit the residence and was there last night.
“A short time after attending, there were the sounds of struggle from upstairs in her bedroom and then some screams.” said Det.-Sgt. Graham Gibson with Toronto police.
“She came down and she was observed to be suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds.”

Another woman, Vermelhudo’s mother, also suffered stab wounds but is expected to make a full recovery.
Police still don’t have a motive. “It all happened very suddenly,” said Gibson.
Investigators are warning the public to consider MacDonald armed and dangerous and call them if they see him. He’s described as being around 5’10”, 160 lbs., with light-brown hair.
