Two people were rushed to hospital Saturday afternoon after a serious rollover collision on Hwy 427 near Eglinton Avenue.
The crash happened at around 2:30 p.m. in the northbound lane.
“What we understand right now is that one vehicle was travelling northbound and for some reason that vehicle lost control and struck another vehicle and then continued into the guardrail, where it was then redirected back to the right shoulder where it rolled over,” said Sgt. Kerry Schmidt with the Ontario Provincial Police.
A man and a woman travelling in the vehicle that rolled over suffered life-threatening injuries. One was without vital signs for a period but a pulse was “re-established” police said.
