Prince Albert RCMP seize cocaine worth $13K in drug bust near Paddockwood, Sask.

Around 140 grams of cocaine was seized by Prince Albert RCMP during a drug bust near Paddockwood, Sask.

At around 10 a.m. CT on Monday, police received a call about a suspicious vehicle near the village. Officers located a vehicle with a 42-year-old woman and 41-year-old La Ronge man inside.

The woman was arrested for impaired care and control of a motor vehicle.

Police said the man had cocaine with an estimated street value of $13,000, cutting agent materials and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Craig Raymond Larson is facing charges of possession of drugs for the purposes of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. He was released from custody and scheduled to appear in provincial court on Jan. 24, 2017.

Paddockwood is approximately 50 kilometres north of Prince Albert.
