WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Jets announced they’ve signed first round draft pick Logan Stanley on Tuesday.
Stanley, 18, agreed to a three year entry level contract with an average annual salary of $1.14 million. The Jets selected Stanley in the first round, 18th overall in the 2016 NHL Draft.

The six foot seven, 230 pound defenceman attended Jets training camp in the fall but was returned to the Ontario Hockey League’s Windsor Spitfires. In his third season with the Spitfires, Stanley has two goals and seven assists in 20 games. He also represented Canada at the 2016 IIHF World Under-18 Championship.
