A new group home in Saskatoon is supporting people experiencing intellectual disabilities.
A grand opening ceremony was held at 546 Christopher Lane in the Lakeview neighbourhood on Friday.
The home supports four individuals, two of whom are former residents of Valley View Centre in Moose Jaw, Sask.

Saskatchewan government officials said they provided over $560,000 toward the mortgage.
This is the second home operated by L’Arche Saskatoon Inc. The organization works to create homes, programs and support networks for individuals experiencing disabilities.
L’Arche Saskatoon also receives around $940,000 from the government annually to support its programs, according to officials.
