ENDERBY – Charges are pending following a deliberately set fire in the Enderby area.
An RCMP officer on patrol Sunday evening spotted a blazing woodshed behind a George Street residence.

The officer called the fire department.
Police say the shed was destroyed and a nearby truck was damaged.
A 72-year-old man was arrested for arson later that night.
He was released from custody on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
His name won’t be publicly revealed until charges are sworn.
