Manitoba Moose bring back Tyson Wilson, release Darcy Murphy

WINNIPEG – The Manitoba Moose have called up defenceman Tyson Wilson from the ECHL’s Tulsa Oilers.

The 25-year-old has a goal and two assists in 15 games in his first season in the ECHL. Wilson put up three points in three games last year as a member of the Moose.

Manitoba has also released forward Darcy Murphy from his professional tryout. The 24-year-old rookie played eight games with the Moose after signing with the team on Nov. 2. He scored a goal and an assist during that span.

The Moose open a three-game roadtrip tonight in Milwaukee against the Admirals. Manitoba has lost five of its last six games.
