RCMP were called to Duncan MacMillian High School in Sheet Harbour, N.S. Friday morning following reports of a weapons complaint.
Police say they got a call about a youth with a firearm on a trail next to the school around 8:30 a.m.

The school was placed in lockdown while officers investigated.

A 15-year-old boy has been taken into custody. Police have not said if they retrieved a weapon from the scene.
At this time, no charges have been laid.
