Good chance of flurries early tomorrow, but when will we see some more sunshine?
Saskatoon Forecast
Today
Saskatoon hung out at -4 with wind chills making it feel like minus double digits pretty much all morning.
During that time, cloudy skies sat over the area with a brief period of light freezing drizzle around 7 a.m. CT that helped keep conditions slick for the morning commute.
A south-southeasterly wind strengthened through the morning up into the 20 to 30 km/h range, which will help warm us up this afternoon hopefully to a high just above freezing as mild air flows in aloft and gets mixed down to the ground thanks to the wind that may gust at times up to 40 km/h.
As we warm up, this low deck of stratus clouds will go nowhere, sticking around for the remainder of the day.

Tonight
Clouds will linger through the night tonight as temperatures dip back to around -4.
Thursday
A few flurries are likely to start off our day early tomorrow morning as a trough swings through.
They’ll clear out in the morning, leaving us under cloudy skies with just a slight chance of flurries for the rest of the day.
-8 is around what it’ll feel like with wind chill tomorrow morning before we warm up a degree or so above freezing for a daytime high in the afternoon.
Clouds will finally clear out of the area tomorrow evening, allowing the mercury to dip right back into mid-minus single digits.
Friday
An upper ridge briefly building in coupled with a low pressure system sliding into Alberta will help kick in some more heat and carve out some sunshine to end the work week.
An afternoon high of 3 or so is expected, which will help melt away the slick layer of ice that’s on many roadways in the Saskatoon area.
Work Week Outlook
That low pressure system will then slide into northern Saskatchewan on Saturday, which should leave the Saskatoon area under some sunshine to start before cloud cover builds in during the day with a good chance of evening and overnight flurries.
We should hit a high right around or possibly just above the freezing mark on Saturday before cooler air sinks in behind the system on Sunday with temperatures below freezing all day and a good chance of flurries under mostly cloudy skies.
