Prospective homeowners continue to sign up for the wait list to get into No. 1 River Landing, the sold-out condominium planned for Parcel Y in Saskatoon.
In four days, all 105 suites were sold.
“We never dreamed this would happen with the sales,” said Urban Capital designer Grant Algar, adding that a 30-unit target was expected for the opening weekend.

People paid $2,500 upfront to secure a suite.
A 10-day cooling off period is underway, meaning buyers can still back out. After that, people on the wait list will be contacted if another condo becomes available.
The suites at No. 1 River Landing range from $250,000 to $1.2 million, according to Algar.
“People will come here, they’ll go out, they’ll walk their dog, so you’ll get that whole vibe going on. The downtown really needs that, so I’m thrilled and the builder is ecstatic,” Algar said.

The homes will be part of a $300-million project that also includes a hotel. Ground broke on the condo’s underground parking in June.
The building is projected to be move-in ready in May 2019.
