2 boys charged in Saskatoon garage break-in

Saskatoon police say two boys are facing charges following an early morning break-in.

Officers were called to the 1000-block of 9th Street East just before 1 a.m. CT on Tuesday from a homeowner in the Nutana neighbourhood.

She told police two people were in her garage.

A foot chase took place when officers and a police dog arrived.

The two boys, 13 and 14, were caught two blocks away.

Police said the boys had property that had been taken from the garage.

They have been charged with break, enter and theft.
