RCMP have arrested two men in connection with at least 10 separate thefts in and around the Vernon area. The thefts date back to September.
On Tuesday night police located a suspicious Ford F150 with two occupants parked on Hartnell Road. Police say the vehicle turned out to be stolen. Inside the truck police located numerous items stolen from vehicles including credit cards, IDs, wallets and tools.

The thefts happened in a wide-ranging area including Westside Road, Armstrong, Vernon and Coldstream.
A 25-year-old man is facing 16 theft-related charges and a 27-year-old man is facing 22 charges. They include possession of property over $5,000, possession of identity documents, possession of a credit card knowing it was obtained by crime, and possession of property obtained by crime.
Police are reminding people not to leave valuables in their vehicles. If anyone has information on these thefts, they are asked to call RCMP.
