Winnipeg takes moment of silence to commemorate Remembrance Day

WINNIPEG — More than 4,500 people gathered at the RBC Convention Centre to honour, remember and commemorate past and present members of the Canadian military.

Nationwide, ceremonies of remembrance took place at the 11th hour on the 11th day of November, followed by moments of silence to remember soldiers of wars past and present.

In Winnipeg, thousands packed into the convention centre to take a moment to honour those that fought for Canadians and our rights.
